Drought Support for our Aussie Farmers
Our proud Nation continues to be stricken by devastating drought and with many of our clients being Farmers themselves, it very much hits home for us here at National Group. Earlier this month it was even confirmed that 100% of NSW is officially in drought and many families have been forced to make gut-wrenching decisions in order to survive.
Therefore after much thought on how we can assist, the entire National Group team have decided to contribute to the appeal in as many ways as we possibly can. Thanks to our suppliers, Atom and Mackay Wholesale Paint Group, we have been able to hold an internal staff raffle with all proceeds to go towards supporting our Aussie Farmers. We have also sponsored the Muswellbrook Rotary Club’s drought assistance charity golf day which will be held on the 5th of October, and made our own corporate donation towards the overall cause.
Mark Ackroyd, CEO of the National Group, was the driver behind our contributions and said “It really is amazing to see so many people go out of their way to support what is such a big issue in our country at the moment and we are just happy that we can provide assistance in some way”.

To put it in perspective, with the population of Australia nearing twenty-five million in 2018, if every person donated just one dollar to the cause, we would have raised almost $25 million already. Our Aussie Farmers are the epitome of our great country and they need us now more than ever.
